Almagul Agadil Participated in the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum

On 2-3 May 2024, Tashkent hosted one of the greatest and featured events of 2024 in the sphere of international investment – Third Tashkent International Investment Forum, organized by the Uzbek Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.

The Forum united more than 2500 delegates and representatives from 84 countries around the world, including government officials, heads of major companies, and representatives of international organizations. It featured a series of discussion sessions and round tables to exchange ideas and plans aimed at enhancing Uzbekistan's success in attracting foreign direct investments and sharing the international experience. It also included a review of promising investment opportunities in vital sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, mining, and the digital economy.

AEQUITAS Associate Almagul Agadil took part in the event and shared her impressions: “The Forum organization coincided to a high standard and agenda was versatile covering interests of diverse business sectors’ representatives. Signing ceremonies of investment agreements worth several million dollars with numerous Emirati, Chinese, and Saudi Arabian companies was another pleasant sight considering the development of the Central Asian region. Evolution of the region will enhance multiple projects in the pharmaceuticals, retail, subsoil use, energy sectors et al”.
